Omkar Bhandakkar
Solar PV Design Engineer
Omkar Bhandakkar is the Solar PV Design Engineer at GreenBrilliance. He is in charge of the end-to-end design and development of solar PV systems.
From PV system commissioning to troubleshooting and resource management for installations, Omkar leads the entire process.
Prior to his current role, he was with Vuronyx Technologies, Boston. In the past, Omkar has designed a sustainable, cost-effective solar irrigation system for rural farms in Peru and a 229.5 kW solar PV system for Stoklosa Middle School, Massachusetts, with a potential to save 50% of energy costs.
Omkar holds a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and is an honorary graduate from BITS Pilani, Dubai.
